If you want to experience GOD for yourself, I would personally like to encourage you take a risk, put your money on the table and see how God wants to bless you. Yeah, you’re going to be uncomfortable. Yeah, you’re not going to know everything. But, in my experiance, this is when God shows his best face.

it dawned on me yesterday that God loves showing off. Not in the prideful way humans like to do it but in a loving way. Look around you and see the nature that is before you! Look at the sky and wonder how beautiful it actually is. Look at a flower and wonder the complexity of it all.

What I also realized was that God wants to show off to me. He wants to show me he is capable. He can pull through. He can flip the odds.

Sometimes I think God isn’t adventurous but I was reminded yesterday in my reading of Wild At Heart that he takes the biggest risk of all. He offers his heart. He loves without a guarentee of getting loved back. He sets himself up time and time again. He gives his creation and his angels free will to choose him or reject him. That’s a huge risk! How often have I done that? How often have I put my heart out there without knowing what will happen?
