My hard drive has officially died. The verdict is in. I’ve used some digital duct tape to keep it together so that I can get data off of it. (Basically, running in read-only mode.)

I’m really not sure how to describe this…it’s almost as if my computer is held together by duct tape all around and the stickiness is starting to rub off. So the computer is slowly dieing…

I’m now in the market for a new computer…*sigh*

I filed all of my taxes today. It’s an exciting time for me. I hope to have my refund in the next 14 days.

I can’t wait for school to start but at the same time I don’t want all the homework and tests. I think I like the busy-ness that school brings. Running around finishing projects, getting papers in, communicating with friends. I think the connectiveness that I feel on campus is different than when school isn’t in session.

This is where I want to be.

Heheh…first day of school and already no classes.

This is, by far, the best…day…ever.

EVER!

I got to the Virginia Courthouse about 8:30 and I was like one of the first people there. I got in and signed in and all that jazz. I didn’t make it up to the bench until 10:15. I looked behind me and I was the last one there…it was kind of wierd. In fact, I think they forgot about me because an officer came up to me and asked me if I had a ticket, and said I did.

Oh well. My case was dismissed. I’m happy.

I drove home, pretty uneventful.

I came home around 2-3 PM and I was so sleepy. I took a nap and 4 and just literally woke up. yay for 14 hours naps…:-)

You know you’re a total geek when you have your own sourceforge project.

I finished BlogMate, the perl script that retreives the last updated info and chews them out for you. I feel pretty good about it…except that I’m freezing and I’m tired.

In other news, I’m going to VA to go to traffic court today. I just hope that the judge is happy with the fact that I finished everything he wanted me to.

Well I guess I’ll tell you how it goes!

geez…2:00 AM fire alarm…when I had to get up at 4:30 AM…man am I going to be cranky today….

I’m now entering hour 42 since my computer decided to crash on me. I’ve installed Redora Linux Core 1 in the hopes to keep up with new kernel technologies. I’ve had some problems with my external hard drives so I’m recompiling the kernel…

I think it’s safe to say that I’m frustrated!!
