Ignoring the problems of today

In the many months that I’ve worked as a community assistant, I’ve come to realize something: people like to blame other people.

I often found that if something is wrong, it is often my fault. One of the things that has given me a lot of grace is the fact that I’m willing to admit my own faults and say, “Look, I made a mistake. Although they don’t happen often, I do make them. I’m sorry for making the mistake and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make things right.”

Many people don’t do the last part. I think is defined in scripture when Jesus said, “When a man asks you to walk one mile, walk two.” We as people should be willing to do anything the person asks to make things right.

Wouldn’t you expect that from someone?
