“You think that’s hard, you should try getting flowers this time of year.”
My router is broken…again!
Yeah, I’m totally going to get another one. I really don’t know what’s wrong with it. It seems that the wireless card gets pinged too much.
I think I stress out my computer equipment. I have a tendency to really abuse my electronics, make them do things that were not intended. For example, who else but me would use a Linksys router to carry a firewall, forward DHCP requests to my server so that I can find out who’s trying to access my network?
With Valentine's Day coming up, it is next to impossible to find flowers. I just called all of the Local Florists and can’t find anyone who would be willing to sell me roses without a pre-order.
And the market price of roses is very high…man, I’ve got to remember to buy stock in roses next year.
I’ve been reading the MCF challenge and this week’s reading is about giving. Jeff gave a very powerful message about giving and one of the things that really impacted me was how much am I giving. Although his teaching was more on giving to the church, I found myself wondering if I need to diversify my giving. Right now, I give about $75-80 to MCF monthly…but that’s it.
God has really put it on my heart to find other ministries to support.
It really is true: we have not because we ask not.

I promise you that if you show up at Giant or Safeway on V-day they’ll have some roses. What’s more, I’ve gotten some of the prettiest roses I’ve ever had from Safeway.
