How long must I wait?
I woke up and starting listening to this song. And I can’t let go of how much I really like this song. I really like the first verse:
But the reason why I’m broken, the reason why I cry
Is how long must I wait to be with you
This just completely draws the picture of how homesick I feel. I’ve been playing it on my guitar and it makes me tear up when I sing it.
Help me Lord cause I don’t understand your ways.
The reason why I wonder if I’ll ever know
But even if you showed me, the hurt would be the same
Cause I’m still here so far away from home…
