the problem with the Terps
The Terps lost yesterday to Clemson 84-72. And it’s not all surprising seeing that we’ve played so sloppy since the beginning of the season. Even against non-ACC teams, we should have slaughtered the other team but we performed so poorly.
The problem is that our reputation precedes us. The days of Lonny Baxtor, Steve Blake, MOOO-ton are gone. Those guys brought class. The team looks like its in the stages of puberty: they know what’s going on and they’ve got big shoes to fill, but they’ve got to have a growth-spurt. (I mean that figuratively.)
I don’t think we’ll get invited to the NCAA, but who knows, right?
Oh well…
