1) How have you been disillusioned by religion?

I guess that means on what you mean by disillusioned. If you mean “how has my faith changed the way I see the world”, then I would say I see people differently than I did before I became a Christian. Before, I would never consider others and never think that they, too, have a life with problems and disappointments. They too have things that they are excited about. My compassion for people has grown.

2) What is your biggest personal spiritual dilemma or challenge?

My biggest spiritual dilemma is really believing that God cares more about people than I do. There are people in my life who I believe have made huge mistakes. Mistakes that they will most likely regret later in life. And I can’t change their minds. Only God can. I have to be willing to let it go and let God be God. It hard for me to let them go in my heart because I see the hurt that they don’t see.

3) When was the last picnic you went on? Describe it.

The family picnic three weeks ago! Pictures will be up soon! It was great! I got to meet a lot of the parents of the students I minister to. I found it encouraging. Found out some really cool stuff too in the process.

4) Where are you going?

In life? Hopefully, the bathroom sometime soon. But also a life where I can glorify God and be excited about it.

5) How have you honored your parents?

In the transition into being a graduate, I have included them into the big decisions in my life. I don’t always take their counsel, but I do make sure I ask them.
