Wild at Heart
I ordered the Korean translation of Wild at Heart for my dad. I really love this book because it really spoke about the heart of true man of GOD. When I first read it two years ago, I wrote to John Eldredge and asked him if he would consider translating it to Korean so that I could give it to my dad.
And now there is!
I’m hoping the same thing will happen with my dad that happened with my mom. My mom and I read together The Purpose Driven Life and it really allowed us to connect differently since we were reading the same thing.
Now I don’t know where my dad is spiritually. He says he is a Christian. I’m not sure how much is being lived out. When I see him, I see an uninspired man. And I hope Wild at Heart rejuvenates him. I know it did for me.
I’m feeling really under the gun because I have four papers due in the next two weeks before I go to Hawaii. I’m excited that I’m going to Hawaii but not all that thrilled that I’ve got hoards of papers. I’m going to be working on a couple of them today. Hopefully get them out of the way.
I also need to make a decision on what to do about being on GCM staff. I’ve already been hired to be on staff, the question is Full Time or Part Time.
I’ll make a decision soon…
