Waiting for tomorrow…again…

It’s been a long day. I’ve had to change plans and will now be staying in Hawaii through Sunday. Some torture, huh…

I’ve been doing a lot of praying today. I feel like God has been testing me in these moments. How will I react? Will I respond in warmth? Will I lose my temper?

So far, I haven’t. I think it’s only because of God’s grace…

It’s been as long monday…of doing nothing. So I did some work…actually went to my monday morning class and hated it…did some more work, and went about my day.

Oh, I bought postcard stamps…which I’m pretty excited about. 10 of them, in fact…
:-)

You have lead me to the sadness
I have carried this pain
On my back bruised, nearly broken
I’m crying out to you

I will sing of your mercy
That leads me through valleys of sorrow
And rivers of joy…

When death, like a gypsy
Comes to steal what I love
I will still look to the heavens
I will seek your face

But I fear you aren’t listening
Because there are words
Just the stillness and the hunger
For the faith that assures

While we wait for rescue
With our eyes tightly shut
Face to the ground using our hands
To cover the fatal cut

And though the pain is an OCEAN
Tossing us around, around, around
You have calmed greater waters
Higher mountains have come down…

I will sing of your mercy
That leads me through valleys of sorrow
To rivers of joy….

Yeah…
