You are right indeed. We do believe a plethora of lies, and convince ourselves it is in fact truth. The significance of this is that this testifies to the varying realms which exist yet often go unnoticed.

I just read a book that opened my eyes to the depths of this war. It is titled "The Fall of Lucifer", written by Wendy Alec.

The book begins with the development of the three angelic brothers, Lucifer, Michael and Gabriel. Their beauty is developed, as well as their power and the role they play in the kingdom of God.

Then God made man, and Lucifer was bitterly jealous and decided to rebel; hence the beginning of spiritual warfare. From this point on, Alec exposes various realms of Lucifer’s activity over the course of history, into the present and continuing into the future in the last chapter.

This fictional account is not necessarily Biblical as there is not a detailed account of the specific actions of the angel's in the Bible. However, the story which Alec has composed is a brilliant work that exposes the power of the spiritual realm.

On top of the highly intriguing story line, the language is vivid and the story comes alive. This 300 page book is a fast read, yet a very thought provoking book as well. If you are looking for a book to read, I highly suggest you pick this book up. I hope they make this book into a movie--- I think it could be Narnia quality.
