I’ve got to say: I was pretty excited to get selected for jury duty. I think it’s a great way to be a part of justice. You have the responsibility of being a impartial observer in a crime and use common sense. That’s was justice is all about.
I went in today at 7:30 and I didn’t get selected. I was a little bummed about that, but at the same time I expected it. I knew that as soon as I told them what it is that I did and who it is I worked with, that they would excuse me…and they did.
The case was against a husband who is alleged to have sexually assaulted his wife. I don’t remember his name…nor does it matter.
What’s important it that I got to be a part of the system.
It was my first time…but I have to say that I don’t think I felt more like a piece of meat than in the moment when the defence and the prosecution look you over and get to decide your fate. Kind of unnerving…but regardless, I enjoyed my experience and I’m making a cool $15 from the whole thing.
Here’s to justice!

Inaugural blog entry
Good afternoon! You’re probably wondering why I haven’t posted in a while. Well, I have no good reason so I’m just going to say that I’ve been lazy, and not wanting to write a lot…
That’s not going to change.
What is going to change is that I will no longer be maintaining my livejournal blog in light of the fact that I’m now paying $100 a year to keep my domain name.
You’ll also notice a new topic called "blog". I will use this topic to post my blog stories. The other topics, well, they have their own purpose.
So sit back, relax and look at my web page. It’s really cool.
