Greetings from VA Beach!!!

May 18th, 2006 Linus

I’ve arrived at Virginia Beach, VA on Saturday safe and sound. It’s been crazy here the pasty two days because of meetings and stuff. I’ve been pretty encouraged for the most part.

I’m here at Virginia Beach LT, a leadership develeopment conference that’s 10-weeks long and involves training students to be better leaders. The staff and interns arrived a week early to prepare and get settled in to help the students.

I’ve taken on several roles. My primary "LT" role is ”’Follow-up Coordinator”’ where I help those who have just become Christians find their home in a church. Also, I’m also going to be collecting funds from people who are in the program, which isn’t a huge responsibility, but a responsibility none the less.

One of the challenges that the pastor here has made is for all of the staffers to read the entire bible in a matter of 70 days. Knowing full-well that I’m going to skip days, I’ve decided to read the entire bible in 60 days. This amounts to about 25 chapters a day. So far, I’m already a day behind…but I’m hoping to catch up.

In case you didn’t notice, my address has changed slightly. Please mail me stuff to:
