About a month ago, I sent Jenna Fisher (plays Pam Beesley in the U.S. version of The Office) an autograph request. I sent her a note asking her to make an autograph to my boys at 38th Avenue…and she totally gave me a shoutout on her blog.

Autographs!

I just received a packet from my manager of letters from people asking for autograph requests. Wow! I must say that I am stunned by the number of letters. And, they are all SO SWEET! I loved reading them – I really did read them.

My manager, in an effort to “manage” things (which is her job), made 2 piles of letters – one to which she sent autographed photos and another of people who sent specific items to be autographed (like DVD covers and such)…which I just finished signing. However, in reading your letters many of you asked for a specific message on your photo and it was likely missed. SO SORRY! We’re still working out how to manage this type of thing. So, if you asked for a personally signed photo and you just get one of me with my signature I hope you aren’t disappointed. I really appreicate the time you took to write your letters. I’m especially sorry if I missed your Anniversary or Birthday request.

Thanks to Chris from Decker Elementary for the cute photo of him and Jamie on Halloween. Thanks to Mike and the guys at 38th Ave. for the University of Maryland coaster. Katie from St. George, Utah asked if I saw the spoof of MySpace on Saturday Night Live – Yes! I was actually in the audience with Angela and B.J. We were in New York promoting The Office for next season. And, I can’t find it right now but I was tickled by the person who wrote that the last fan letter he’d written was to Superman.
