Meet Virginia
It’s official. I’ve moved to Fairfax, Virginia! I’m pretty much settled at this point. I’m going to have to put a large chunk of my stuff into storage. But otherwise, it looks great!
Brad, my new roommate, and I are still trying to figure out where everything is going to go. We’re still waiting to put the final touches on the living room until we get the huge plasma TV. But, I’ve got my room, bathroom, and kitchen so I’m set to go.
Since moving out here, I’ve noticed that my stress is much lower now. I can sleep better (without medication now) and I’m much more relaxed. I’m enjoying my new church and can’t wait to get some time to do some rock climbing.
With all the changes, I don’t find myself lingering over the past. I’m looking forward to what lies ahead, the adventures to see, the places to explore. Through this, I hope and pray that God continues to heal my heart from my past wounds. I hope, with all earnestness, that God will grant me the peace that my heart thirsts for.
