My new job: IT Support for USAF
I’m in about two weeks of my new full-time job at the Pentagon. I work as a consultant doing systems administration for the United States Air Force, Manpower Management. So far, I am really enjoying it!
Working at the Pentagon has it’s perks. I get to go to the gym that’s in the basement, get my prescriptions filled while I work, go grab a bite to eat, make phone calls, all without leaving the building. Now, mind you, it is the largest office building in the world.
I must say, though, I’ve never spent so much money commuting before! It costs about $10 per day to work at the Pentagon! That’s Metro baby…
So, I’ve got a lot of time on my hands since I’m still waiting on my clearance. So, usually, I spend my time cleaning my ears, picking my nose, and reading stuff online. I’m sitting here waiting until 5:00pm so I can go home.
Oh, that’s another thing. I actually am not allowed to bring work home with me. It’s illegal.
How cool is that?!
