Down the stretch
Now that I’ve gotten the official commitment papers from my mortgage company, I have now entered into what’s known in legal terms as "screwed if you back out now."
All contingencies have been removed; the only thing left is to close!
It’s been a harrowing experience; most of the emotions I’ve been feeling have been stress! It’s difficult to close on a house by yourself. But I feel good about it. I feel like God has blessed me with a great job, a great group of friends, and a discipline with my finances.
I’m looking forward to moving in! I close next Thursday (December 27) at 10:30 am.
